Army Half Marathon

We woke up 3.30 am to take bus to the esplanade... not enough sleep...
we had only bun for breakfast .. not enough food
we started to run at 5.45 and for 21 KM!! haha

at first the running was alright as the weather still cooling as we run down the streets ...
i ran past yuanzhe and he asked my why i run so fast.. ahah maybe he was slow? muhaha


Ran past alot of ppl... but when i reach the Sheares Bridge i almost fainted cause i saw the BIG SIGN board showing.. 5 KM and i already sweating and panting... hahaha cause in camp, we normally run 5 km i wont even break much sweat.. wow.. the distance is really far... trust me.. my leg still hurts and now walking like a penguin swaying from side to side because of the pain in my knee and my tigh...

We ran up the sheares bridge and down.. reach East Coast Park.... where saw alot of public slacking at the beach while we ran our hearts out... we almost ran half of east coast then make a detour back but this time going toward the Nicole Highway... which was the last stretch about 18 KM .. but by then my knees are hurting real bad so had to walk and my RSM saw me running and shouted my NAME soo loudly !! PAISEH.... why ? because our RSM is a 40+ lady ... oMG... she has very good stamina ... respected her !!

After i past the finishing line.. my leg Cramp immediately .. duno why... mental has its way to ur body i think .. so i sat down and rest... then started to walk like a penguin till now .. if u see some guys walking like penguins maybe they ran Army Half Marathon yesterday and had the same effect.. muahhaa...

Here's the sad thing.. 1 Platoon Commander from OCS ... CPT HO aged only 25 collapsed and passed away yesterday after finishing the 21 Km run... Deepest Condolences to his family.... He Finished his run and finished walking his life at the same time... i have been thinking... what if that guy who collapsed is me ? it could have be me ? who knows..

life is sooo fragile...

so treasure me while im still around? muahhaha :)

August 24 friday

Its been a long time since i last blog... as usual.. too busy with lotsa of stuff and recently heard from my Superiors that blogging is for Wussys... then i more dun feel like blogging .. haha but nevertheless i still update u guys who took time dropping by...

NDP 07 just ended and even thou i took alot of out time from us... but it was rather fun .. and it ended with a bang... haha saw alot of things.... learning to interact with childrens... realising the generation gap that we have .. abit of communitcation problem .. ahaha get to know some new female frens hehe later will have some pics for viewing..

updates on what going to come .. for my schedule next few months will be tight tight and tight... cause we will be going for alot of training .which to a extend that i cant even take a leave to go back sch for gathering on the 31 of aug... haizz

Another thing ... Sun will be my once in a life time RUN... 21 KM ARMY HALF MARATHON... experiencing it for the for the first time.. haha hope can finish within 2 hrs.. hope no cramps along the way... its seems that Jingyi in NYJC had been running alot of km since she joined JC ahha im still ur blog fan loh... always sooo much things to read and see.. oh ya sooo long nv see my cute juniors le rite xiner.. find some time .. go organise a gathering prefer to be on a sat then let me know and i will be there...

OCT i will not be around in singapore...

coming back in NOV... will there be surprises or more sadness this year ? haha who knows...
